Andaluz Bar and Tapas
This underground bar at 21 Howard St, Perth this bar opens at noon Tuesday through Friday. It stays open to midnight Tuesday through Thursday then it’s open to 1 am on Friday. Saturday it’s open from 6pm-1am. Its distinct European style is decorated with plush furnishings. In these intimate surroundings, you’ll enjoy tapas and handpicked wine that focuses on Spain.
This is the first pintxos bar in Perth. Located on Wolf Lane it’s open Tuesday 11.30am-10pm, Wednesday-Friday 11:30am-midnight, and Saturday 4pm-midnight. Stretching over two levels and beautifully decorated you’ll enjoy a delicious à la carte menu. The reason The Spaniard is one of the top Perth bars is the photos that line the bathroom’s walls.
Located on the ground floor of the restored Perth Technical School at 125 St Georges Tce this bar is open Monday-Thursday 4pm-midnight, Friday 2pm-midnight, and Saturday 4pm-midnight. This is a classic, old world cocktail bar. You’ll enjoy sitting outside in a leather armchair or inside when the weather is cooler. Either way, you’ll find the staff is really attentive.
This vibrant European-style oasis is located at 4b Shafto Lane. Opening Monday through Friday at 6.45am and Saturday at 5 pm you’ll enjoy fine dining from southern France, Italy and Spain – much of which vegetarians can enjoy.
Located at 181 William St, Northbridge and opening at noon daily, you’ll enjoy live music six nights a week and pop up chefs in the courtyard throughout the week.
Bivouac Canteen and Bar
Located at 198 William St, Northbridge and serving locally sourced food this is one of the top Perth bars, Opening Tuesday-Friday at noon and Saturday at 10 am you’ll also appreciate artwork from emerging artists.
Venture up a newspaper-lined staircase at 125 St Georges Tce and into this rooftop lounge that’s named after Bob Hawke. Open Monday-Saturday 12pm-midnight and Sunday 12pm-10pm you’ll enjoy this 1920s carnival-themed basement speakeasy. While feeling as though you’re in a dark, mysterious place you’ll enjoy a great view of some of Perth’s tallest buildings. As you do so you’ll enjoy liqueur served in teapots, classic cocktails, and tap beers.
The Brown Fox
This bar and bistro is located at 72 Outram St. Opening Monday-Saturday at 11 am you’ll enjoy this bar’s unique picturesque interior. Entering through a Romanian front door you’ll see Egyptian chandeliers and pressed tin ceilings. Enjoy their exclusive Lazy Dog Cidery, something you’ll find only here.
532 Hay St. is the site of Perth’s first Chinese restaurant. Today you’ll still feel an Asian influence in the decor. Open Tuesday-Thursday 3 pm- midnight, Friday 12pm-midnight, and Saturday 6pm-midnight you’ll enjoy Asian fusion tapas and novel cocktails.
Cheeky Sparrow is a slick-looking, two-level venue that is located at 1/317 Murray St. Decorated with bird-cages and lighting that looks like bird nests, you’ll enjoy pizza and various ‘boards’ offering cured meats, pasta and cheese.
Located at 125 St Georges Tce, this is a grungy warehouse-style bar. Open Monday-Thursday 3 pm- midnight, Friday 11am-midnight, and Saturday 3pm-midnight this bar is different from the typical upmarket Brookfield Place. Here you’ll enjoy pre-loved furniture and walls decorated with street art.
